SubtleDistractions is a simple Android app that delivers audio experiences designed to help you calm down, meditate, stay productive, or just have fun. There's nothing to configure — open the app and choose an experience.

How to use

Simple — open the app, then choose your experience.

Troubleshooting

  1. No sound during an experience — Make sure your device isn't in silent / Do-Not-Disturb mode and that media volume (not just ringer) is turned up; the app plays through the media audio stream.
  2. Text fades feel stuck / slow — Tap once to immediately reveal the current line, or tap twice rapidly to jump to the end of the fade-in sequence.
  3. App closes / crashes on launch — Confirm you're on Android 7.0 (API 24) or higher; older versions are not supported. Try clearing the app's storage under Settings > Apps > Subtle Distractions.
